Running multiple parallel agents burned through Claude and Cursor Ultra limits in a single day
prasenx · x · 2026-10-19
Developer prasenx hit the weekly limits on both Claude and Cursor Ultra ($200/mo) on the same day after telling Cursor to run multiple agents in parallel — the agents ate the entire quota overnight.
Screenshots show Cursor Ultra's Other Models quota at 100% used with 8 days left until reset, and Claude's weekly limit also at 100%, resetting in 24 hours.
Lesson: parallel agents multiply token consumption and can exhaust even premium subscriptions; set usage caps before fanning out agents.
