Autodesk quizzes decade-long paying customer on licenses; CMO schedules Monday meeting
ssh4net · x · 2026-10-18
A small business paying Autodesk $380 per user per month for over a decade publicly pushed back after receiving a license-compliance inquiry email, noting the software already enforces authentication and assigned licenses. Ironically, the owner had been defending Autodesk's Fusion cloud API direction for agentic MEP workflows on two podcasts the same day.
Update: Autodesk's CMO reached out, and a meeting is scheduled for Monday morning.
