Following the cancellation of the Grace Hopper Celebration, the tech community is stepping in: GitHub has set aside 75 complimentary passes for GitHub Universe (Oct 28-29) for attendees with cancelled GHC registrations, claimable via LinkedIn DM or [email protected], first come first serve. Cloudflare matched the offer with 100 free passes to this week's Cloudflare Connect in SF via [email protected]. GitHub acknowledged Universe is far smaller than GHC but hopes it gives folks a chance to reconnect.
