Gemini CLI PR adds user-facing warning when quota info is unavailable
VinayakSingh2513465 · ghdev · 2026-10-17
A contributor opened PR #29802 on google-gemini/gemini-cli: quota retrieval failures currently surface only in debug logs. The change shows a concise, nonfatal warning when a Code Assist quota request fails or returns no usable data, deduplicates while quota stays unavailable, and resets on success.
- Clarifies /stats shows in-CLI quota info, not a public quota API; no change to account eligibility
- Tests: 251 core config tests passed, plus type-check, ESLint, and Prettier
