Community developers @aryankakad57 and @mahizade0712 ran "mission mimosa", an experiment adding FlexiTac tactile sensing to the SO101 robot arm, out of curiosity about what robots with a sense of touch could do.
The result: policies converge faster and are more sample-efficient with tactile feedback. FlexiTac author @binghaohuang shared the report, noting the open-source work is making tactile sensing more accessible and others are building on it and sharing results.
