deltabox-lite open-sources agent-native sandboxing with diff, commit and abort semantics
tianyin_xu · x · 2026-10-17
yubinxia announced deltabox-lite on GitHub (92 stars, Apache-2.0), a lightweight sandbox runtime for AI coding agents addressing the "agent just rm -rf'd the wrong folder" problem: agents keep full execution freedom inside a confined filesystem view, while every change can be diffed, committed, or aborted/rolled back — per task or per tool call. Installable via homebrew and npm, with deltafs-fuse, a plugin system and examples.
