SimDist, a framework from Jake Levy (UT Austin) and Tyler Westenbroek (UW), was presented at RSS 2026. It takes failing policies to 90% success using only 15-30 minutes of data. Reviewers call it a natural baseline for a subset of the DARPA TIAMAT challenges; it was presented in the 'World Models & Memory' session.
