Lenny Rachitsky ships a plug-and-play moat check skill for evaluating startups
lennysan · x · 2026-10-14
Lenny Rachitsky released a plug-and-play moat check skill: tell it which company you're considering joining and it walks you through identifying compounding advantages, assessing their strength, and measuring whether they hold up. Built by danhockenmaier from his popular moat framework. In a demo with Ramp, the skill hypothesizes switching costs as the moat and flags that shipping speed and "save time and money" messaging are fuel, not a moat.
