Beancat launches an AI agent for media production with transparent per-run dollar pricing

The team behind Beancat (beancat.ai) launched an AI agent for media production, positioning it as your "AI production crew" that removes the need to juggle multiple generation tools, hand-craft prompts, and organize assets.
Key features:
- Asset management: every file auto-named and filed; natural-language retrieval (e.g. "Iria alone in the cave at night"); rules set once (e.g. "flashbacks are always black and white") apply to every relevant shot.
- Directing by instruction: works from a storyboard, script, reference video, or one line; the agent checks the last shot, attaches the right characters/audio/style, and writes prompts tuned to the best model; also plans scenes, generates variations, sorts takes, and updates the production bible.
- Transparent pricing: no credits—plain dollars, with every run itemized (a sample 10s Seedance video shot totals $1.90, including $1.43 for generation and $0.14 for planning).
Beancat began as an internal tool for original animated episodes with millions of views; it's now open to everyone with a free start.
