Founding engineer leaves YC robotics startup to build his own robot from scratch

A founding engineer at a YC robotics startup quit 42 days ago to start his own robotics company in Oregon. He founded the HIRO robotics club at Oregon State, and after K Scale shut down, its founder Benjamin Bolte talked him out of buying a prototype and into building his own robot instead.
