A student shared their acceptance email from Stanford Code in Place's "Probability for AI" course. The email says over 20,000 student applications were reviewed, and admitted students must pick a section time promptly, with week-one materials dropping in days and onboarding closing Sunday. The course is run by Chris Piech and Mehran Sahami.
The student notes that the more ML they learn and build, the more math matters: probability teaches you not just what a model predicts, but how much to trust it.
