deadxwarrior · hn · 2026-10-12
Developer snuri00 released ps2-web-recomp, an open-source project that statically recompiles PlayStation 2 games to WebAssembly so they run directly in the browser without a dynamic emulator. Static recompilation translates machine code ahead of time, cutting runtime overhead compared with traditional emulation.
