MIT's FleXray segments 60 anatomical structures in any X-ray, runs in-browser
Dr_Alex_Crimi · x · 2026-10-11
MIT CSAIL, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Harvard Medical School released FleXray, a universal X-ray segmentation foundation model that predicts 60 anatomical structures across body regions, views, and acquisition settings. It trains on physics-based CT-to-DRR projections, real radiographs, and generative-model-enhanced DRRs, outperforming generalist baselines. Paper, code, models, an MCP server, and a WebGPU browser demo (fully on-device) are all open.
