User hits ChatGPT thread porting bug: Dot's context handoff leaves thread read-only

Developer alexisgallagher reproduced an agent thread-migration issue: he created a Mac-bound ChatGPT thread on macOS ChatGPT, then asked Dot to convert it into a portable thread type. Dot's approach was to spin up a new cloud Work thread and inject a context handover document — but afterwards the thread became read-only, breaking the continued conversation. He suspects the trouble started with letting the agent pick a sensible default on its own.
