New kissing number lower bounds for dimensions 19-31, with C++ exact verification
felpix_ · x · 2026-10-10
Felpix-Studios released an open repo with improved kissing number lower bounds across dimensions 19-31, including full point data and verification tooling.
- d19: 11948 → 12276 and d21: 29768 → 31276, via an "odd-sign delete and add" method building on Cohn-Li configurations
- d28: 204522 → 205172 and d29: 209497 → 210473 via a "Leech lift" method lifting 528 disjoint sets of Leech minimal vectors with short tails, then adding poles, layer and hole points
- Further improvements in d30 and beyond
Each preprint folder contains the point data and paper PDF, and a C++ checker verifies any dataset exactly, pair by pair.
