Arrival at 10: Denis Villeneuve joins a conversation on AI and non-human intelligence

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of ARRIVAL (2016), director Denis Villeneuve will join scholar Dr. Nina Beguš for a conversation at the Academy Museum on Nov 2, 2026, exploring language, artificial intelligence, non-human intelligence, and consciousness — the ideas at the heart of the Oscar-winning film, followed by an 8pm screening.
The event is part of an ongoing collaboration between the Academy Museum and the Berggruen Institute on cinema and technology; tickets from $5.
