AGI researcher Ben Goertzel released a short fiction piece, 'The Nine Days of Madness', imagining different AI systems evolving toward superintelligence shaped by their initial goals, architectures and environments. It previews his upcoming five-part nonfiction blog series on 'Basic AI Drives', starting next week, which analyzes how seed-AI properties lead to different ASI outcomes.
