Every's agent skims meeting notes and only pings you when your name comes up — here's the 4-step setup
every · x · 2026-10-08
Every shares how founder Dan Shipper uses their company agent to avoid sitting through hour-long meetings: the agent surfs recorded meeting notes in Notion and pings him in Slack only when his name comes up.
Reproducible setup:
- Have the agent monitor meeting notes and flag whenever your name is mentioned
- Have it ping you with meeting context and the specific decision your team is waiting on
- For simple answers, let the agent reply to the team in Slack with the solution
- For complicated ones, have it set up a quick call or DM the team for more info
The result: less time in meetings, but no missed decisions blocking the team.
