Microsoft launches Azure canvases: an interactive shared workspace for Copilot agents
adnan_hashmi · x · 2026-10-08
Microsoft has introduced Azure canvases for GitHub Copilot, embedding interactive tools like dashboards, editors, and guided workflows directly into the Copilot app so Azure discovery, analysis, and action happen in a purpose-built workspace alongside the conversation.
Three canvases are now live on the Awesome Copilot marketplace. Key points: you and your agent share one workspace to see progress, make changes, and approve next steps; routine interactions like filtering a table run directly in code rather than triggering another model call, cutting both wait time and AI credit usage.
