Prototyping tech trees with an AI producer team in Ashes of the Singularity II
draginol · x · 2026-10-07
Stardock CEO draginol shows how AI accelerated design on Ashes of the Singularity II (ships next month): tech trees have always been hard to prototype, so teams "went with what they had." This time they had AI mock up multiple research-system designs for three factions. In the "Clairvoyance" workflow he talks only to an AI producer, which dispatches work to its own AI team — a hierarchical setup that drastically saves tokens and speeds things up.
