Besxar builds Fabcast console to auto-process flight test data in-house
AviatorAshley · x · 2026-10-07
Besxar engineer Ahmed Hussain built "Fabcast", an in-house console that replaces the old workflow of manually parsing massive flight test data with dozens of Python scripts.
Fabcast automatically processes and plots data across all flight stages — canister temperature, pressure, acceleration, random vibration, mechanical shock, and gyroscope changes — and flags memory gaps, measurement errors, fault handling issues, and sample interval irregularities to improve data collection on future test and production flights. The team says Flight-1 was just the test and the next eleven flights will be a bigger challenge, as they build toward testing and refining AI-driven substrate recipes in space.
