Dev builds ComfyUI node pack for projection mapping, 3D region prompts and motion design
Puzzled_Parking2556 · reddit · 2026-10-07
A projection-mapping artist open-sourced KubaNodes, a first ComfyUI node pack consolidating workflows previously spread across Comfy, After Effects and Houdini.
- Split building facades into windows/doors/cornices, each region gets its own prompt while the rest stays pixel-exact
- Import .blend/.fbx/.glb or cryptomatte/ID passes so every 3D object becomes an individually promptable region; wave/beat-driven motion rendered in Cycles
- Director window with layers, keyframes, behaviors (orbit, breathe, spin), audio and ProRes export, plus color match, deflicker and retime
- LTX can animate only selected regions while everything else holds still
Tested on 12GB/16GB VRAM Windows machines; available on GitHub or via ComfyUI Manager.
