Open-Source MCP Server Connects Claude and Codex to Search Console, Bing and GA4
RelativeSlip9778 · reddit · 2026-10-07
A developer released Search Console MCP, a free, MIT-licensed Python server that lets Claude, Codex and other MCP clients query search and analytics data directly.
- Sources: Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, GA4, Chrome UX Report, plus technical page audits
- Scale: v1.2.0 ships 81 tools, 19 of them for Bing
- Example prompts: "Find queries ranking 8–15 and inspect the pages' headings and internal links", "Compare Google vs Bing performance", "Compare GSC clicks with GA4 organic sessions"
- Careful design: keeps Google/Bing comparisons separate due to differing position definitions; only reports cross-engine deltas with exact matching date windows; missing metrics reported as unavailable
- Deployment: runs locally with your own credentials (OAuth or service account for Google, API key for Bing), with English/French docs and a CLI
