Agent harness replicates Minecraft builds: maps, places blocks and generates its own assets
Promptmethus · x · 2026-10-07
The author shows week-over-week progress of an agent harness replicating a target building. The workflow: the harness maps the structure, places blocks itself, and simultaneously generates its own assets.
The browser preview system can only render a small range of chunks around the targeted view, so what you see is the building's front facade rather than the full scene. Asset quality is still more primitive than vanilla Minecraft, but the fact that the harness handles mapping, block placement, and asset creation autonomously is, in the author's words, obscenely impressive — they aren't aware of any other harness that can replicate block placements like this for a boxel system (unless running in the same source engine).
