Developer Brian Lovin asked Claude to watch a software product's YouTube launch video via frame sampling, and it rebuilt a custom version tailored to his needs from the prompt alone. He notes this wasn't possible six months ago and, quoting signulll, argues that all software except model weights is now effectively open source.
