jiti-lfe: a chat-driven cooperative kernel for live Lisp Flavored Erlang apps
arthurcolle · x · 2026-10-07
Developer arthurcolle released jiti-lfe, a cooperative kernel that runs Lisp Flavored Erlang (LFE) on Erlang/OTP and lets you build and use a live, persistent application entirely through chat.
- The loop: ask the model for a function, try it against the application's real data, then request the next capability built on top—features accumulate while the app stays live.
- Chat can define and test functions, manage data, run owned background jobs, build dependency plans, and inspect a saved project.
- The repo ships with an AGENTS.md, a skills/maintain-adrs skill, docs and examples. Author says replication is working and describes the "BEAM to BEAM" experience as smooth. Early-stage (0 stars).
