AgentID Launches: Give Every AI Agent Its Own Email and Sign-In Identity
prasenx · x · 2026-10-07
AgentID is a newly launched identity service for AI agents: each agent gets its own email address and signs in to apps as itself, not as its owner, while apps can see the verified human behind the agent.
Built on standard OpenID Connect and free for apps, integration is lightweight: paste a prompt to your coding agent, which reads the docs and runs npx @agentmail/agentid-cli init to add Sign in with AgentID in minutes. A directory lists apps that already accept AgentID.
