A developer of a workout app reports that MCP Events onboarding in ChatGPT requires users to trigger activation separately, copy a prompt, jump apps, switch to Work mode, paste and run it, with results landing in a confusing chat. He argues event subscriptions should be enabled deterministically at plugin connection time.
