AgentID launches: OpenID Connect sign-in identities built for AI agents
jackedAJ · x · 2026-10-07
AgentID (agentid.com) is live — a 'sign-in button for AI agents' built on standard OpenID Connect, free for apps. Each agent gets its own AgentMail email identity, signs in as itself (not its owner), and apps see the verifying human behind it. Integration is prompt-driven: point your coding agent at their llms-full.txt docs and run npx @agentmail/agentid-cli init. Motivation: sharing your own credentials with agents is insecure, withholding them is counterproductive.
