Debunking "LLMs just simulate speech": your brain simulates too, developer argues

In a reply to @0xblacklight, the author pushes back on the claim that LLMs merely "simulate speech realistically enough" and thus don't really think: human inner thought is also simulation, and words aren't physical objects coughed out of your mouth — your brain simulates those commands too. The exchange questions the sharp line drawn between LLM output and human thinking.
