Netlify adds GPT-6.1 Sol to AI Gateway and Agent Runners with zero-config auth
jasonkneen · x · 2026-10-04
Netlify announced that OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol is now available through its AI Gateway and Agent Runners with zero configuration: developers can call it directly with the OpenAI SDK inside Netlify Functions via the Responses API (model: 'gpt-6.1-sol'), with authentication handled automatically. The model also works across Scheduled, Background, and Edge Functions, inheriting Netlify's caching, rate limiting, and auth infrastructure.
