Dev cuts CI costs to 1/24 of GitHub Actions by repurposing Celesto sandboxes as runners
aniketmaurya · x · 2026-10-04
Developer aniketmaurya was burning money on GitHub Actions—hundreds of commits a day on top of coding agent subscriptions. His fix: repurpose Celesto sandboxes as GitHub CI runners. The result runs at 1/24th the cost of GitHub CI runners and is 16x cheaper than Blacksmith.
He's packaged it as a public app anyone can try for free, with the first 20,000 CI minutes covered by Celesto.
