Opus 5.5 autonomously researches and ships 16 new glitch-effect parameters in ~2 hours
thefinnmckenty · x · 2026-10-03
Developer thefinnmckenty describes asking Opus 5.5 to search existing repos implementing glitch effects modeled on real analog signal chains for his NTSCRT app. The model ran for about an hour and returned 16 new parameters; after another 45 minutes of feedback iterations they were integrated and look great. Work that would have been 'nightmare mode' a year ago is now a single agent task.
