ChatGPT Atlas browser can't even log into ChatGPT, user reports
koltregaskes · x · 2026-10-02
A user testing OpenAI's ChatGPT Atlas browser found that logging into ChatGPT inside the browser simply doesn't work, comparing the experience to the old ChatGPT Agent, which had the same problems.
He also raised key questions: how secure is the browser, can you install the Bitwarden extension, and can you log into your Google account? These account and credential capabilities will determine whether AI browsers can handle real workflows.
