e2e launches as open-source agentic testing framework with action memory and replays
aloncarmel · x · 2026-10-02
e2e is an open-source agentic testing framework for web and mobile apps, bootstrapped with npx e2e init.
- Hybrid testing: mixes deterministic APIs with agent APIs, where the agent performs actions and assertions (e.g. "upgrade the workspace to the Pro plan").
- Action memory: e2e remembers the agent's past actions and replays them when possible instead of re-calling the model, cutting tokens and cost.
- Bring your own stack: pluggable gateways (Vercel AI Gateway, OpenRouter, direct keys) and any model — OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and more; runs locally or in CI.
- Installable for agents via npx skills add tester-army/e2e.
