Hands-on: Muse vs dot shopping agents get blocked often, supervising them costs more than buying yourself
downingARK · x · 2026-10-02
After 48 hours testing Muse and dot agents for shopping (mostly retail and travel), the verdict: not yet seamless.
- When it works it feels like magic, but constant blocking and takeovers meant supervising the agent took longer than doing it manually
- The main qualitative difference: Muse is much snappier — after adjusting to its speed, dot feels slow — and computer takeover was buggier on dot
- The author remains optimistic the experience will keep improving
