Developer dSebastien shares a real cost pitfall: the more useful his AI skill library got, the more expensive every session became. Claude Code loads the name and description of every skill at startup, and with hundreds of skills that burned tens of thousands of tokens before he typed a word. He went on to build a fix for this.
