Open-source AI agent Comma launches on macOS and web, but early testers slam broken onboarding

Comma, a new open-source AI agent, has launched on macOS and the web. Its pitch: no group chats, no crowd of assistants — tell Comma what matters and it carries the work through across devices until done.
Early hands-on from developer Jason Kneen was rough, though: multiple login issues, a Gmail integration that didn't work at all, no suggestions, no onboarding, and nothing feeling personal. Promising concept, broken first impression.
