Game festival vows permanent bans for any AI-generated content found in entries

The GamesWithoutAI festival declared that if a game is found to use AI-generated content during the festival, or if a studio publicly boasts about bypassing the organizers' checks, the game will be removed and the studio permanently banned from future editions. AIandDesign pushed back, arguing developers should spend their energy making great games — with or without AI — rather than policing tools.
