Jesse Tay (DeepMind) argues many EA organizations have job application processes that appear unhinged: candidates often face 10-20 work trials stretched over weeks or months. He suggests tolerance for such lengthy hiring is probably not a desirable candidate filter and seems at odds with the urgency of the organizations' own work.
