Andriy Burkov's Satire: 'I'm Building a Bioweapon and Won't Stop Unless Others Do'

Known ML author Andriy Burkov posted an obviously satirical first-person monologue: "I started building this bioweapon 3 years ago because I love to build weapons of mass murder... Someone should regulate this kind of stuff before I distribute it across the globe. I will not stop myself unless other people building bioweapons for the fun of it stop as well."
The bit lampoons the racing logic of "I won't self-restrain unless everyone else does," arguing that safety can't rely on individual self-restraint and needs external regulation first.
