Surprise finding: ChatGPT, not Cursor or Claude Code, is the top caller of our MCP

zenorocha's team found something unexpected: the harness calling their MCP the most is ChatGPT — not Cursor, not Claude Code.
Sentry founder zeeg replied that on their side Claude is the primary consumer of Sentry's MCP, which he'd attributed to Codex's weak MCP support. Together, the two data points show that real-world MCP call intensity across coding and agent tools doesn't match common assumptions.
