qdrant_engine · x · 2026-09-24
Qdrant and DeepLearning.AI have launched "Building AI Assistants with On-Device Memory," taught by Qdrant DevRel lead Dylan Couzon.
- Students build a local memory system that stores, retrieves, filters, and forgets experiences using vector search
- Extends to text, voice, and images, teaching the assistant to recognize new objects from a few examples without retraining
- Runs fully locally on Mac, Windows, and Linux — offline-capable, data stays on device
- Intermediate level: 8 lessons, 5 code examples, and a hands-on AI coding lab
