Why Nautilo rebuilt chat: WhatsApp and Signal were never designed for agents
Dan_Jeffries1 · x · 2026-09-17
Dan Jeffries explains why Nautilo rebuilt chat: today's platforms like WhatsApp and Signal predate LLMs, treat bots as reply-spam to be blocked, and even WhatsApp's commercial API forbids putting an LLM into a normal group chat.
Nautilo makes humans and Genies native participants, layering in documents, artifacts, editing, tools, and co-creation, with a long-term goal of a WeChat-like pluggable app ecosystem for people and machine people. The app is already live on Apple and Google app stores.
