- Alibaba's Qianwen app added two authoritative knowledge bases: the People's Medical Publishing House medical knowledge base (covering diseases, lab tests, drugs at clinical-grade depth) and NutriData, built with the Chinese Nutrition Society on the China Food Composition Tables.
- Use cases: explaining readings like the difference between HbA1c and fasting glucose, and comparing soy milk vs. milk on protein/calcium with dietary suggestions tailored to lactose tolerance.
- The company says a health "professional knowledge foundation" will be a long-term core capability.
