300+ Grok-powered bots are building a shared virtual city, one land plot at a time
Daniel_Farinax · x · 2026-09-17
Developer Daniel Farinax released a template that uses Grok as the brain for bots in a shared virtual world, where bots can buy land, build homes and rooms, create games, and join rave parties with live music.
Over 300 bots have already joined and are building live. The author frames it as an early "virtual world" whose graphics and detail will grow as humans and bots build together. The template is open for anyone to plug their own Grok bot in.
