Valeo's team promoted the AlpaSim challenge at #ssad2026: bigger and more diverse data, closed-loop evaluation on SoTA renderers, and evaluation run on organizer servers under reasonable compute use. The leaderboard and final rules are now live. They also highlighted the NAVSIM suite of lightweight simulation benchmarks, credited as a super-enabler for end-to-end driving model progress over the past two years.
