Harrison Chase says multiplayer auth is the hardest part of enterprise AI agents

LangChain founder Harrison Chase argues that auth—especially managing identity in multiplayer channels like Slack—is the hardest problem for "org harness" / enterprise AI, as opposed to personal AI.
He cites a complaint from Cursor engineer @kamathematic as a concrete example:
- Cursor's Slackbot authenticates as the user who started a thread, not the user who actually sent each message;
- Claude's GitHub integration opens PRs as an external entity (Claude itself), letting it bypass PR reviews.
Chase says the team is actively working on solving this for managed deepagents.
