Andrew Trask (iamtrask), founder of Nervana and former OpenAI researcher, flagged a common misconception in the multi-agent hype: when someone says "10,000 agents," they really mean one model pursuing 10,000 parallel threads or contexts. That setup does not provide the same diversity of thought as 10,000 actual people.
