Researcher urges talking directly to AI firms' biosecurity teams

Anshul Kundaje recommends that Angie Rasmussen talk directly with companies' biosecurity teams, saying it is a "very different experience" from reading polished blog posts or the dumbed-down arguments CEOs give in CNN interviews and podcasts.
He adds that strong arguments which do not support their claims might even change their minds, since these teams are very open-minded. He rarely changes his own views quickly without clear evidence, but after interactions it became blatantly obvious that his read on their intentions was simply wrong.
